most have found cometic gaskets in the metal material MLS is the best available in todays riding -
harley will call SE gaskets the best ever made - sure if you like a flathead ford your in

I have used James since forever and never had a problem. The only time I ever had issues with aftermarket gaskets was when I used the ones that came with a Taiwanese Sporty 883-1200 big bore kit...they lasted 3 days!!
