There's no way to check if the lifters have been replaced to the B version already right? Have to pull the nose cone and rocker boxes and full dissassembly?

They most likely have not been replaced. If they were replaced but not with B lifters its a crap shoot as to how you would be sure about that.

Just put new ones in and rest easy....
