My 2 cents it doesn't look bad. And like everyone else has been saying if the motor is running and it is it good shape go for it. I like the older style bike too. Good luck and keep use updated on it
Ahh sometimes its not about money... I like it, I would offer him 2k. Its an 84 EVO they are getting hard to come by. Plus go to bike night at your local bar, you'll only see one, and sometimes none.
I bought a 98 FLHR thats beat up and needs TLC. 30k miles. Still runs good. Changed all the fluids, adjusted the clutch, tires, brake pads, grease the wheel bearings. Its all good, just a fun ride. PLUS ITS A HOBBY. Some folks fish, go to football games, travel. Its your money spend it!
I hear ya! It is my hobby I love wrenching and fixing up bikes and when its all said and done people say "hey nice bike" makes ya feel good and proud to ride something you restored
The whole ball games changed I ran the VIN and it was in a collision salvaged now it has a BUILT title so Im sure theres a bit of mix match different parts If the frames bent I wont buy it. going to do a full inspection and ride on it today
Well its a done deal couldent get him down from $2,000. with 48,000 miles I still feel I got a heck of a deal the engine and tranny look good. I love the bike. on the BUILT title it all checked out good I called DMV and had the VIN ran checked good and she said that florida has to inspect the bike and pass it as road worthy. they wouldent have issued the title of BUILT if the frame was bent she said it would have failed.I checked anyway frames good shes out of the rain and sighing relief
Thanks Man maybe one of you can help me out a bit Im just not finding anything or forums about them or people working on them not many left I imagine.I need to get a factory HD manual for it anyone got one cheap?
