What are you talking about?
If it has an aftermarket frame then everything else should still be the same.

I have an '86, for the manual, check fleabay. I needed mine in a hurry to resolve an issue so I bought it from New Port Richey, Harley. Cost me about $80...OUCH. Don't do that. It's nice, covers all softails '85-90. But you can get a model specific manual from the 'bay for way, WAY less...
All the info you need is in this EVO forum. You don't need to look anywhere else. These guys are rock . Is it the FL frame?

There are also a couple decent Indies in the area if you get to a point where you need to take it to a pro.
How can I tell if its an FL frame? also I think this thing utilizes the shovelhead bottom end am I right? do you still go to the Harley shop? I hang out there now and then may know me?

I found some FLH/FLT/FXR manuals on ebay around 20 to $80
I guess the gas tank on this model is pressurized?? says it on cap I opened it and POW bout blew off?? also correct me if im wrong if the bottom is shovelhead type I believe a kick start kit can be installed? thought it be cool to add it
I would not say the bottom end is shovel, anymore than any other evo. There are similarities, yes, but there are differences.
Look for the VIN stamped on the frame neck. If it's aftermarket, you'll see it in the VIN stamping. Does the frame VIN match the numbers (most of them) on the motor? I think the frame has some extra numbers/letters, but the motor numbers should be in there.
I seem to recall someone made a kick start kit for 5 speeds. Finding one today might be hard.
