I'd like to have a kick start on my '86. I like the old skool look! Well, as much as you can get with a Softail, anyway. My old body can't hang with a ridgid for anything more than a barhopper.
I remember my first big motorcycle trip, 1982; Dayton, Oh. to Daytona, on a ridgid Triumph. I couldn't do that again!
I don't get it. You got an EVO with a 5 speed, everything else is just fluff. That's what this forum is, evo!
Think I was misunderstood yes I know its an EVO what I tried to get across was like customizing things fairings,no fairings chrome trim, lights ect the bike it self how to,s and how they did ya know
Here ya go I'll send it to ya free of charge if you want it
That was a classy move Rabbito!
Kino way to go on fixing up an old bike. My hat's off to you and I understand what you mean, I like wrenching myself for fun. It's a lot more fun now that I don't do it for a living anymore (that was a long time ago). My boy is starting to help me, we installed a tool box last night.
I love the old Evo's, sold my 95 Evo Road King to a buddy, and I miss it's bad a$$ sound compared to my twinkie.
If you like restoring old bikes you might like to watch some videos from hunting harleys on youtube.
