"t doesn't change with clutch in or out or in gear driving or sitting still so I assumed that crossed the clutch off the list,"
That was my thoughts to begin with too. I had spun the clutch basket with the chain off and felt for looseness. At Tom's insistence I tore the clutch all the way apart.
My bars will shake ( Vib) some at off Idle 1500-1800. even now. But it is so much better I don't pay attention anymore.
Also remember I didn't ride above 70 mph cause of a buzzing in the hwy pegs. the boards were not so bad. I won't say the buzz is gone but so much better it's not a bother anymore
Do you happen to be near the western part of Texas?

Reason: question
New issue. Was checking voes make sure it's working right and I realize my brand new gas line has a fray on the outside while my tank is raised. Turns out that while my engine is aligned now it's hitting the gas line on the pet **** and the clearance at the top of the stabilizer bolt and gas tank is way too close too. I don't have the minimum 1/4 clearance. Beyond frustrated with this thing. I don't know guys, I think someone might have sold me something with a bent frame or something? Im at a loss can't even ride it now the things going to go up in flames. Very thankful I decided to check the voes today or I never would have noticed this. I twisted it so it's not hitting but it's way to close at the petcock and link enough that I'm not going to ride it, just killed my afternoon. Also I did quickly start it to make sure it wasn't causing the shake, it's not still does it.
I can sympathize with ya. I can't count the number of times I said " I'm gonna do this or that and if it doesn't fix it I'll chunk the SOB off a cliff." translated Ride to a dealer tell'em I want to sell it How much ya give me.
