well, took bike for about a 20 mile ride today and its still doing it. Going to have to borrow or buy a timing light and try that next.

 

Well, inbetween fighting to get my 2 year old down for a nap I put a timing light on bike. at about 1300rpms I have 2 dots showing. Everything I have read shows I should set it to single dot being my bike is a 1997. Going to try that and hopefully fixes problem!
