The bike has 23k miles previous owner did Samson megaphone exhaust and s&s carb ,and some small tacky appearance mods that I removed. the bike still looks new , it's in my garage midly disassemble with a bunch of goodies on the way for it I'll post pics when It's together
Get them pictures up soon. Nothing prettier than a State Blue Pearl Road King!
Just a quick opinion check, the bike has a little over 23k miles runs great no funny noises, how imperative is it that the lifters and cam bearing are changed ? I am planning on doing a cam install at some point but can't really swing it just yet , my question is am I risking the motor by not swapping the lifters and came bearing asap

Everyone recommends changing at 40k. I don't know how much riding you do but it will take you a while to get there from 23k. What is this thing "riding season"???????????
Yea being up north kind of limit your riding. Not saying you can't cause I have. I use to live in NY and day after thanksgiving my now ex wanted some shĄt from Walmart that she work at I didn't have a car only my 95 spotty and a 20 mile rude in 25* raining no front fender it wasn't fun couldn't feel my body for a good 3 hrs water kicking off my front tire instantly freezing oh yea great time so yea that's riding season lol
