TD instead of getting rid of Scarlett has your wife looked at trying SuperFeet green insoles, and using exercises for the plantar fasciitis as well as icing the feet. I takes a good month, but it worked for me. Better than getting up every morning and as you first start walking feeling like you're ripping the muscles in your arches. Then also like your heels are constantly bruised.
