Guys, before this thread gets moved to "off topic" (it's coming. I can assure you) I want to say THANK YOU to all who helped and understand a husband's devotion to his wife.......... Mine's an absolute keeper.....I just hope she thinks the same of me. Sayonara all............Be kind to one another........
Man I hear ya on keeping ol lady happy. And I understand her pain I've had foot surgery on my right foot and I'll not get the other foot done I think made it worse. Best of luck and I'll do a shot of seafoam for ya lol
And to keep it here........ Something something evo
Okay, I know I'm gonna get blasted for this...and possibly banned from the forum...but here it goes...
If you really feel you need a smother running bike so the ol' lady is confortable, why not look into a mid 80's Goldwing? You can pick up a GL1200 with low milage and excellent condition for peanuts, less than $2500 all day long. There as quiet as a sewing machine, ride like a Cadillac, and have the vibration of a tunning fork.
That way you have very little money invested, and can keep Scarlett, too. Best of both worlds, you can ride Scarlett when your solo and the Wing when two up. When your wife's better, sell the GL for what you paid for it.

That's the way I see it anyway.
The only way I'm gonna blast you is if TD gets another LGBT parade bike and posts pictures of it here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
