I don't care what you use... something is better than nothing. I don't subscribe to the idea that our Evo's need the latest and greatest, or a specific type of oil. As long as it's not energy conserving and is 40w or above. I happen to be fond of Rotella because it's cheap, it's readily available everywhere, it does a great job, and if I'm in a pinch a 1 gallon jug will leave me a quart and 1/2 to fill up the primary if I don't have any Type F ATF.

Oh we get by...you can find 0w5 hyper-synthetic, titanium blend self-renewing oil in most supermarkets for under $15 an ounce these days....mind you, that is cheap compared to what my Honda VTEC car takes!
