Vee Rubber is a manufacturer, Taiwan. The tread pattern is the same as Dunlop, but they are $50 cheaper. Just wondering if anyone else has ran them and how they lasted. I'm very disappointed with the Michelin Commander II I got last time on the rear. That thing didn't last.

The MC2 's I have seen around here have done great on mileage.
Gonna try them the next round.

I personally am not a fan of "cheap" tires...I have no idea what the Vee Rubber brand is, but odds are if it's made in Taiwan, It's junk.

As far as the Michelin Commander 2's are concerned, I've been running them and I am more impressed with them than I have been with any tire that I've run in the last 10 years.
Mine are wearing like iron, handle great and do very well in the rain...I'll be running Michelins for a long time to come.
I'm a very aggressive rider and love to run hard through the twisties, can't say enough good about the Commander 2's.

Well, I really have no idea how many miles I've got on the Michelin. My speedo was broke for some time and I have no idea what it read when I put it on. I put it on and forgot about it. Recently, I looked at it and I was just surprised to see so little tread left. I have no facts, just doesn't feel right. I've loved the tire otherwise. And as far as Vee Rubber being made in Taiwan, do any tire makers make them in the US anymore? I think most are made in Indonesia, due to that lack of climate regulations.

I was running Metzeler ME880's (possibly the crappiest tire ever made) and got sick of replacing them every 5,000 miles (rear) and about 8,000 miles (front) a friend of mine recommended the Michelin's....I couldn't be happier.

I wouldn't take a chance on that tire that you're looking at because the tires are the only thing between you and a real bad day...Just my .02
