How's this?
I have my idle set @ approx. 1k, which is where it stays 99% of the time. Ocassionally, once warmed up, start her up and it has that really low rpm "potato" idle. Give her the least amount of throttle, and she instantly idles up perfectly. Otherwise runs great, no bogs, coughs, or hesitation.

Sorta the same thing happens to mine.
I just enjoy the lower RPM for a second then throttle her back up.
Thats just it, it only does this once fully warmed up.
As in, during a ride for example, pull in somewhere to gas up and grab some snuff. Come back out, fire her up and...potato, potato. Tap the the throttle, and back to normal.
Not concerned, was just curious if this was "normal".
