Bike left me hanging

Default Bike left me hanging
I am sitting waiting for a trailer to come pick me up as I type this... My bike started missing, one cylinder firing one not intermittently. Didn't matter how much load was on it low rpms or high rpms. It got real bad so I pulled into a gas station.. When I went to start it back up it only fired on one cylinder.. Ignition module? The coil has been replaced because it did something similar before and the coil tested bad so it was replaced.. Bike has ran fine until now..

I wouldn't assume the coil is good just because you recently replaced it.
Electronic parts are prone to fail at any time.


I'd go back and check everything again.

im not saying that the coil isnt bad again. hoping thats not the case. lol. im aking if my symptoms could be caused by a failing igniton module

Sorry to hear you got left hangin', been there done that, on more than one occasion with every bike I've ever owned. Comes with the territory. Could be something a simple as a fouled plug or bad plug wire. Pull the plugs, check for fouling, check for spark and go from there.

One and only time my HD's left me stranded was 600 miles after my engine build, it blew a head gasket. HD been good to me.
