This is my third HD but my first Evo. Just love the idea of a mechanical NON computerized machine. It has a lot of character. I have some friends who have always sworn by the FXR so I decided to give one a try. Lot of bike for the money. I have to say it's handling is like a razor in the corners compared to my other bikes. Hope not to have to ask to many questions! haha

Whoops, I left on an "n". Electronic ignition? Clearly you haven't had that fancy little check engine light come on. This bike just feels more primitive. I like being able to work on it without getting a diagnostic report. Just saying.... It does puke a little oil occasionally out of tube that I can only assume is a crank case vent or something?

I have the service manual already. I don't think I said "thingie" but point taken.
You can see the tube I speak of hanging out from under the bike in my sig pic. I just wondered if it was normal. Thanks for the advice.

How about thingamajig, doohickey, chingaderra, whatchamacallit, thingamabob, or any of the four letter mechanic power words that people use the world over to fix things??????????
