Looking for some help/info. I have a 97 Ultra with fork lowers that are the worse for wear and tear. Through a friend I have the opportunity to purchase off of a 2013 Street Glide the following...
Fork lowers along with 18 factory front and rear rims and tires. The front wheel comes with the Brembo calipers, rotors and lines for what I consider a fantastic price of $350. My questions are these..
Will these 2013 Fork LOWERS fit my 1997 Forks? A plus would be the ability to replace my current 16 rim and Two piston calipers with the 2013 18 rim and 4 piston Brembo calipers and rotors. So whats the verdict? Is it a bolt up or am I looking at modifications and if so what are they? Thanks folks for any help.
B.H.
No flipping way it's gonna fit. You better let me have his phone and address so I can spare you the heartache.
Rear wheel ain't gonna work with you current swing arm.
Tom
If he's rolling 41 mm tubes then his lowers gonna swap right over. Other than the mismatch tires you're gonna run, which don't mean Jack, you'll have a mighty nice setup for $350 and four cervezas. Ain't gonna take you three hours to swap front ends and do Spanner's ground up bleeding.
