There are exploded diagrams of all the parts on the on-line parts websites, like this one. The entire assembly nyokie describes is supported in the frame by rubber mounts at front and rear.
I can't find a good pic either.
Ok let me see if I can say it.
The rear of the trans is held by the swingarm pivot shaft, trans is bolted to the inner primary, inner primary is bolted to the engine, the front of the engine is held by the front motor mount. The adjustable helm joints (one at the top between the heads and one down by the front motor mount) are used to aglin the assembly(the engine and trans as one unit) in the frame.
Not sure I said all this right but I think it is close
Still can't find a good pic of the trans mounted in the frame. The parts finders don't show it well, least to me they don't
Hope this helps WP
