I understand one advantage of adjustable pushrods is being able to change cams without removing the heads but I will have the heads off to install a 95 inch kit and will at the same time be changing cams (.510" lift). I've run this combo before and it's all I'll ever want so, if I never plan to change cams again,is there any other advantage to the pushrods?
A 1 size fits all ability and the easy cam change is the only advantage to adjustables. Disadvantage is wt. and possibility of coming loose. As long as you can find a rod to fit the 510 you will be fine. I'm sure S&S makes one.
