I had a small accident and my pipes are really scratched and I want to replace them.
Without taking these pipes off and looking for a part number, can anyone tell me what type of pipe these are. With all the research I have done online I am unable to find the exact type. Most of the pipes I have seen are staggered. These look like a big shot pipe but they are not shortshots or longshots from that I can tell. Bike is a 91 Softail custom if that helps.
I have the same ones, im not sure either, i was told they were short shots "original straights" but when i see short shots, they end right at the pass pegs, these pipes extend about 4"-5" past the pegs, so i have no idea, i heard V&H has part numbers on the under side of the heats shields, maybe find a number and call V&H?
See, think they're the same as you, if you figure it out..let me know, like i said, i bought mine used and the seller said they were short shots "straights"
These came on the 07 I bought along with a f p2 tuner. I am having some issues with the engine dying when idling down (very infrequent). I want to check the fuel pack settings but I don't know the model of the pipes.
