I'm planning on buying a new Road King and having them install a Stage 4 kit before delivery to keep everything under warranty. I think the stock pipes are loud enough so I'm not worried about sound. I don't think it would be worth the extra $1000 if its only going to add a few horsepower
I know I could get more power for less money if I went with a 2 into 1 pipe & a Fuel Moto 107 or other after market system, but that's not the way I want to do this.
The SE High flow exhaust will still have a catalytic converter in it. So if I were you, going with a "Stage 4" kit, I'd find another head pipe, with out the cat, and put on a good pair of mufflers of your choice. A good exhaust will allow the engine to really breath and give you anywhere from 6-15 hp/tq gain just from the exhaust.

For 50 state EPA compliance, they're using two cat's, locating one in each muffler where the larger diameter inlets serve to reduce restriction. I'm about to install this system on my 2015 FLTRUSE.
