I've been thinking about going to a 2 into 1 system on my bike.
I like the idea of the Supertrapps disc system for tuning and sound. Big problem is that here in the frozen north , Supertrapp systems are pretty expensive. I have found a smokin deal on a SE supertrapp 2 into 1 . Looking at pics of the super meg and this one , it looks like the SE has a shorter collector and a longer slip on . The SE also has the O2 bungs at the collector .
Has anyone had any experience with the SE unit? Does it work as well as the Supertrapp?

Another disc muffler to look at is the Fuel Moto e series. They have a universal that will fit on other 2/1 header. They also make them in slip ons for duals. Call them, maybe one of those will work.
Thanks , but I just check Fuelmotos site, and the slip ons are more in US$ than I can get this SE set up for in CAN$.
That is why I wanted to know if anyone had used one of these before .

I had that system on my Night Train. It had a great sound, made it's presence known but was not obnoxiusly loud. I also liked the fact it was tuneable (add or subtract plates). Had 26 plates and closed end cap on the NT.
I am in the same boat and bought a SE 2 into 1 (2001 Rev 1 version) made by V&H from a shop in Calgary for 160 USD. He had more
The problem is that there are no bungs but for that price I can weld some in.
My bike is an 08, and like yours has 18mm bungs close to the head. They are there for a reason and if mounted at the collector they will be too cold - that is why later bikes with the sensors mounted away from the head have (10mm) heated sensors.
Apparently the SE pipe I bought, although made by V&H and while identical in headpipe and collector design, uses a more restrictive muffler. I am hoping to find a slip on muffler as well, and like you balking at the Fuel Moto price.
My crappy CAD does not help
Rolling a can and stuffing it with Supertrapp guts cannot be that difficult?
The O2 bungs aren't an issue, that can be fixed pretty cheap. What does bother me is not knowing if this system will perform as well as the real deal.
Maybe I'll just wait until I can find one at a better price.

For what it's worth, I put a Fuel Moto E series muffler on a V&H Propipe headpipe when I did the Stage III Pro kit on my '15 RGS. Worked and sounded great and easy to tune.
I've been running a Supermeg on my 1990 Glide for several years and love it. It came with O2 bungs because my dyno tuner prefers them when running on a dyno, so they could be seen as a benefit! If the SE system is intended for a touring bike, why hesitate?!
