Hi, new to this forum, andneed some help. I have a 2000 softail standard and I have carb issues. my carb seems to pop or stumble off of idle when I apply the gas to take off at a light or stop sign. its been doing it since the day i picked it up at the dealer. But now it seems like it happening more often, and sometimes when it happensthe motor stalls. Pleasehelp itsdriving me crazy. Thanks in advance for any help.

Install a 46 pilot jet and readjust the Idle Mixture.....this is the circuits your on at thetime of your problems.

Thanks, for the info Doc, i forgot to mention that i have a thunder slide kit installed, but the problem was there before the kit, and it didn't seem to help or hurt the problem once it was installed. Thanksagain, Vince

I'm not a fan of the Thunder slide kit but it doesn't come with a pilot jet anyway so like I said try a larger pilot jet and re-adjust to idle circuit.
