Default Softail Fitment

Will exhaust off a 2009 Rocker C fit my 1997 Fatboy. I'm wanting headers with the hidden crossover and not the one that goes under air cleaner.

normally softail stuff swaps over pretty easily BUT you have forward controls an the FB has foot boards so you could have clearance issues there and then the rocker has the 240 rear wheel an wide swing arm so you might have a problem there. I think if you can find a newer fatboy or slim with the foot boards an slimmer rear end you won't have a problem. the rocker system might work though.

Oil lines are routed different on the Rocker C than it is on the other Softail models, may pose a problem for you.

Default exhausting question

I'm trying to install the OEM shotgun exhaust with the crossover under the aircleaner back on my '95 Fat Boy. I'm having trouble with the rear mounting bracket. It appears there are 2 different rear brackets. The '95 book shows a bracket with one large hole that looks like it is mounted to the frame pivot bolt. The other rear exhaust bracket appears to have a cut out where the pivot bolt would be and two holes; one above and one below the pivot bolt.

How does your '97 rear exhaust mount attach to the frame?

Do you have the shotgun exhaust with the rear exhaust can above and behind the passenger peg and the front exhaust can below the passenger peg and more forward?
