Which one is hotter, front or rear? Which one is showing lower compression, was it checked on each cylinder on base circle so that both valves are closed? Have you checked the service manual to see if it's within limits?

Unless the bike is sitting still for a prolonged period of time the front head will be cooler than rear as this is a air cooled engine.

The rear cylinder will run hotter since it's out of the main wind stream. Have you measured the temps with an infrared thermometer or something like that?
Not sure what you mean by throwing different compressions. Has the compression been checked, and if so, what are the readings? Or are you talking about the difference when you put a hand at each muffler and think it feels different?
You didn't say what bike he has so try to give us some more details. Engine, year, mileage mods, etc.

It is a 2009 Harley-Davidson Softail it has a 98 cc motor and it is when I put my hand in the back is when I feel different compression but like I said I'm more of a Honda guy than a Harley guy so don't know much I'm just now learning any input you have would be great and I greatly appreciate it thank you

Unless you are running true duals you cannot tell anything by the feel of the exhaust pressures as there will be a crossover pipe connecting that 2 exhausts together and the air will flow more freely through the straighter pipe.
