Purchased a 2016 Road Glide Ultra. Exhaust is a bit loud for me. Has a HD part# on it, so guessing stock mufflers. But looking up the tail pipe, I see this:
It doesn't show in pic, but appears to have some form of baffle running back most of the way.
The two screws throw me off - is there a bolt in baffle that's not here? Or are the screws for some form of decorative tip (tapered cone + a tip??)?
Im just a guy on the internet but it sure looks like someone took the baffle out of the muffler...im sure its loud and im sure its hurting performance too. Stock mufflers are probably the quietest mufflers out there.

The mufflers been gutted. Hows the bike running besides being loud?
I think it runs OK. Only heard an odd decel pop a few times. only had it out for a few hours so still learning the idiosyncrasies of it compared to the Sportster.
Not having much lick looking on Craigslist so far. Hoping for a pair of take-offs with baffles. Else, maybe Screaming Eagles??

look for a late model twin cam cvo stock mufflers on eBay. They look nice and wont be loud and the bike will probably run better.
