does anybody know how I can get more noise out of my Supertrapp 2>1 exhaust? I have 9 discs and an open end cap on it. I love the performance and really love the look. The sound is also very good but just want a little more!! Anyone??
ps: I did a search on this and couldn't find anything.
I think you are looking for something else than performance, as with no back pressure if you want sound put drag pipe on they are loud and are lousy for the street. Noise does not equate to performance. The pipe you bought is desgined with performance , remocing the end cap is already cause loss of bottom end tq unless you are over 117INCH ?? AS with my set up at 117 I ran it that way but I use a white bros e-pipe now with the 124 I run 18 discs mountain motor core baffle and no end cap.
"Removing the closed end disc and running just the polished end cap with or without the discs will cause the jetting to go leaner and lose power. If you must have more noise, we suggest you get the optional 4 inch end cap and run 9 discs. This set up has the same flow as the 20 discs and the closed end disc but it will add more noise."
end quote.
So according to the instructions, I guess I didn't lose any torque hey?
