Need help identifying this exhaust system. I need to find heat shields that fit. It's definitely not D&D because I've already checked with them. Appreciate any help....
I don't have any answer for manufacturer, but a good ceramic coating like Jet Hot could make that look like new again, then you don't have to find the heat shields.
Hint: go to Dennis Kirk and the other major motorcycle parts suppliers (to include HD) and enter the year/model of your bike and filter down to black 2-1 pipes.
Should be able to figure out what set of pipes you have by doing that.
I've tried to I.D. the pipes by looking at what's offered in ads, but haven't had any luck so far. I really thought they were D&D pipes, but after sending them pictures they said it's not one of theirs. The pipes were painted with the high heat flat black shaker can, and were chrome at the beginning. Thanks for your input. Happy Trails....
