I've just come out to the bike in the frozen shed and done the nuts to 10 ft lbs which is 13.5 Nm.I'll report back when I get a chance for a few spins.May be a while in Irish winter.

I use MS21042-5 nuts for exhaust. They are elliptical locks and do not loosen. Many other advantages as well.

My neighbor had the same problem. He then used serrated exhaust nuts and they stay tight now.

Loctite would be a waste of time; the heat would render the Loctite useless.
