I can't seem to upload pics. When I hit the button to upload pics and select 'from this device' it doesn't let me go further than selecting the pic but that's it.
Are you clicking the upload button after selecting your photo?

It doesn't get that far(it did when I joined the forum 1st).When I click 'upload from thos device' it brings me to my pics and when I select the one I want it doesn't prompt an OK(or similar) like it did before.however I've noticed if choose 'take picture' it does let me upload.
Hard to tell. But elliptical locks aren't round on one side of the nut. This allows tension to always be squeezed. These are all over jet engines. I don't worry about getting the FAA-PMA verified ones and just source them from McMasters.

Not sure if they're like the K nuts I ordered. But what do you mean by not round on one side?

The bottom hole is round. Where the stud starts into the nut. The hole where stud will protrude is oval. Imagine putting a nut in the vice and only squeezing the top hole shut. When installed. This oval hole becomes round and there is constant squeeze pressure on the bolt. Stock pic from net. Look at 10 oclock to 4 oclock compared to 90 degrees. Can you see how it is oval?

Just an update on this.I bought 4 k locking nuts which I believe are oval in part helping them to lock down.So I removed the headers, changed the rear port gasket and reinstalled with the new k nuts. All is good now.Torqued to 11Nm which I believe is around 100 ish In lbs.
Thanks for the help guys and gals and happy new year to you all.
