Engine noise

I've got a noise, tapping like a small ballpean hammer, out of a 05 FLHR. Only there at 2200+ RPM goes away if roll on or off the gas. Seams to be more on the right side, started at around 3000 miles and has gotten a little worse at 5000 miles. Doesn't appear to affect the engines performance.I've read a number of posts about the same sound (problem) and many theories of what it is. I'm sure with all the knowledge that is on this forum someone knows what thisis and how to fix it.

Help!!!

Probably airated oil, to check put straight weight oil in it (50 or 70) and see if the noise changes.
