I recently rebuilt the top end of my 96 stroker it has new heads new gaskets new rings this is a s&s kit
I have points and a dyna ignition. There is spark in the plugs there is spark in thepoints. It turns over
but back fires through the carb black smoke and and a flame out of the exaust. will not kick over please hep!!!!!!!!!

 

If you have gas fouled the plugs it will act like this. Try new plugs first.

[8D][8D][:@]Thanks randy for the info, do you think the omhs are wrong on my coil im running a dyna 3ohm coil a friend of mine said i should be running a 5ohm coil what doyou think

 

The dyna "S" takes a 5 ohm.

 

Randy tried new plugs the bike almost started put choke out of carb ther still a flame out of the carb and exaust not all the time periodicly. It wants to start but wont any other helpful hints.

 

I would double ck the timming and possible the pushrod adjustment.
