Sick Evo in need of Help!!
I purchased a 1996 Dyna WG a few weeks ago, and love it. It is my first Harley, so please excuse my ignorance. I was running fine until a few days ago when it started ticking, and then died and has not run for more than a few seconds since. I checked for spark, and it was weak. I also checked the ingition pick-up and found that it had partially melted, so I installed a used pick-up that a buddy of mine had with no real improvement. THe engine appears to have been significantly modified. It has Revtech dual plug heads, a Mikuni 45mm carb, vance and hines staggered duals with no baffles, a Revtech performance ignition module with rev limiter and variable ignition curves, a cam with enough duration to make the bike dead in 5th gear at 70 mph--it likes to run 80 in third, and a set of rev tech coils (the bike is currently set-up with four spark plugs). I still have weak spark. I also installed the module on a friends bike and it ran, although it did pop. I am thinking about installing a new crane or compu-tech ignition, but I am not sure this will help. I have traced wires and checked grounds and they all appear to be in good shape. Any ideas?

use a dyna ds6,2 dyna 6v coils ran in series and nology wires.you`ll have spark that will give you welding flash!! this is the set up we`ve ran in our dragbikes for years (gas & nitro)and all our street bikes too
