I have a 2013 CVO Road King that I bought last September, it came with chrome Vance and Hines slip ons...not sure which ones that they are. They measure 4" diameter, measuring across the end cap(s). The end caps are the straight cut stock ones with the rounded ends. What I would like to do is to replace these with slash cut end caps that follow the angle of the hard bags, if they are available. With the pipes mounted on the bike, on the bottom of the pipes near the end caps there are 2 Allen head bolts, is this all that's holding the end caps in? Do the baffles come out with end caps? Does anyone know if slash cut end caps are available for these Vance and Hines slip ons? Thanks!

I had V&H Big Ovals on my "09 Electra Glide, and I had to replace the end caps due to chrome problems. Those two screws are all you need to undo, the baffles are not attached to the end caps. Cheers.
There is a company called Performance Machine that looks like they make or made what I am looking for...slash cut end caps for Vance and Hines 4" slip ons. Like Vance and Hines, they don't work Friday's (Monday-Thursday), and will be in the office Monday. I sent them an email.

If power is important to you, good idea to use tips that fit onto the outside of the pipes.
Below is a video of what I've experienced with billet exhaust tips that slip into the inside of the pipes.
Kevin, thanks for the video! Do you know of anyone that makes slash cut end caps that fit over the end caps of the slip ons rather than into them? Thanks, Steve.
