Has anyone had any trouble transfering the EFI from the inside of the tank and re-installing it into another tank. I did this on the weekend you can here the pump turns on but the bike won't start now.......any tips .....

Did you remove the fuel pump fuse as recommended in the service manual and maybe forget to reinstall??? I just pulled out the sending unit and it was an absolute bitch. Its funny how the service manual does explain it to be real simple.
I am putting all new sheet metal too. I will finish it up in the morning and hopefully not have any F'd up **** going on like your case.
