I just bought an '07 Road Glide and got the Rinehart slipons. I didn't change anything and didn't seem to ahve any problems (no popping etc) but its seems like the bikes get up and go must have got up and went. I have V&H Slipons on my '06 Softail Springer Classic, and they seemed to make a difference when I put them on (again, with no other mods)
Am I missing something? They sound cool, but...........
I agree you need some more fuel, spend the extra $ and get a high flow air cleaner and then some sort of fuelmanagement system If you plan on no other mods look at the V/H fuel pak.
