Default Back fire question

Well I have a 07 night train with stage one kit from dealership, arlen ness slasher ness under cut pipes, and revtech tfi. I bought the pipes of a guy I know for 200 bucks he said there were baffles in them but when I looked there were no baffles in them.(maybe this is the reason for backfire) Well I put a plug in the 02 sensor port and put the 02 eliminators on the sensors. What may be causing the backfire? Do you guys recomend me taking the bike to a tuner to have the tfi tuned? Will the backfire ruin my engine? How about no baffles? Thanks in advance.

Without the baffles the bike is virtually impossible to tune correctly, get some baffles and a good tune and the problem should be gone. I take it your using a Power Commander.

I am using rectech for controlling fuel. If I welded a washer to bolt and used that as a baffle would that help out a little as far as back pressure and popping? Kind of went broke buying pipes and dfo.
