Default Screaming Eagle 2 into 1 vs slip-ons

I am looking at a used Screaming Eagle 2 into 1 to fit an 06 softail. I still want the Harley rumble but not excessively loud. Can baffles be changed in SE pipes?? I understand the SE 2 into 1 performs better than slipons. Any advice is welcome. Thanks

Personally I think the SE 2-1 has a lot to be desired for performance compared to other leading 2-1 pipes out there. Have you looked at a set of 1 3/4' or 2' Rush slip-ons, Cycle Shack 'M' series slip-ons, both of these pipes perform well and are very reasonably priced. If you want a 2-1 a Fat Cat or V&H Pro Pipe HS series will give you more bang for the buck than the S/E2-1.

The SuperTrapp SuperMegs delivers all the hp & tq but quietly when the closed end cap is used.
