Default Yet Another Exhaust Question

I realize this is a boring subject but I have to ask for opinions just the same. I am torn between Screaming Eagles and Rush exhaust. Most people I talk to say I will not be happy with SE. They say it will not be loud enough to make a difference. These people are sending me in the direction of the Rush Slip-ons. Me, on the other hand, don't want to go too loud. My other bike, Suzuki, with V&H Cruzers started out perfect and then got too loud. Any answers out there? Also, if you send me in the direction of Rush, what size baffle do you recommend and why? Thank you in advance. Mike

Rush will be loud. The best ones I have heard that is not overly loud is the S&S mufflers. They also perform well.

I bought Rush slipons with 2" baffles for my 2007 sportster...I wish I would have gone with the SE's... the Rush are nice just way too loud for my taste..I dont want to p.o. the neighbors any more than I have to

Thanks guys. I appreciate all input and have made up my mind. I am going with the Screaming Eagles. I prefer to not ride with ear plugs. I just hope their loud enough to be heard. I am a firm believer that loud pipes save lives. It has done so for me several times. Thanks again. Mike

razz, before you jump on the se's , the nice thing about rush is you can intercahnge different size baffles into the same slipon pipe with a simple nut....1.75 baffle is not too loud and has a deep rumble to it...I have read alot more post about rush verses se and the consensus is rush hands down....also not sure what mods you have on the bike but the 1.75 baffles don't need any other mods.. just install and ride baby!!! got mine from fuelmoto good prices !!!
