stage 2 big bore kit
Local dealer is advertising a stage 2 big bore kit for 96 motor for 1500 installed. Is this a good deal? Is it worth it? From the research on the forum this sounds like a very good price. I am looking for more performance from my 07 WG. My wife and I do alotof 2up riding and I would like an increase in power/torque. We are new to HD 2 months/3,000 mi and are still learning. Also what should I expect from this type of upgrade. Thanks in advance for your input.

There will surely be better answers than mine to follow, but, from the folks I've talked to you need to do more than just bump up to the "big bore" kit. Cams and head work will go hand in hand with the "big bore" to make the real power increase. Be sure to look around at doing more than just a big bore kit. Don't be afraid of the after market stuff either, a lot of it will net you much bigger increases than the moco's stuff.
