Have a 2006 RK classic with 9,150 miles on it stock no work to the engine.Since i boughtit new(6 miles on it) i have always had to let the engine warm up for 5-10 minutes before i could ride it or it would buck and sputter and sometimes stall. Even in the summer with an air temp of 80 deg.+ temps i still have to let it warm up. If i want to take off right away, have to give it plenty of throttle and stay on it when stopped until it gets warm! Isn't that the point of EFI start her up wait a couple of minutes and then ride, WTF! Any answers, solutions would be helpfull. Thanks
[ol][*]The tune is good it was just at the dealer in the spring for service, and nothing changed, would the stock jets have anything to do with it? I kinda rember in AMI mag someone saying something about the same problem with RKs my model year and the factory replaced the jets, there wasn't enough angel of degree or something like that.[/ol]

Hmmm... a 2006 bike with cold starting / running problems??
Check out H-D Service Bulletin M1185 regarding that particular
problem caused by the 8 degree fuel injectors.
Hopefully you are still within the 2 yr factory warranty period and can convince
your dealer to swap them out for the newer 25 degree fuel injectors at no cost.
You may want to printout the bulletin and take it with you to the dealer.
It will eliminate their standard "we never heard of any such thing" BS.
The dealer certainly won't "volunteer" to update the injectors, but since
your bike is stock, they won't have anything else to blame it on.
Be nice, but be firm, mentioning the liability issue if the "stalling when cold"
problem should result in an accident with injuries.
