Anyone Have Hooker Rebels?
Features are Step fitments, Metallic Ceramic Coating on internal head, 2.5 " outer pipe, No visible Blueing. ON their website they claim a 2001 Fatboy gained 16 extra horses and 7ft lbs. of Torque with a 46 low speed jet and 190 main jet and a K&N air filter.
I think this may solve all my probs, the pipes are low so i can add bigger bags, i like the look of the 2-2, they don't blue and add horses!
I went to 2 local customizers and asked for opinion on pipes, they both liked the Hookers and said that Hooker has been in the biz a long time and their research and knowledge is great.
I also got a tour of the back and was shown all kinds of bikes in various stages of being built or taken apart and was shown blueing on the V&H at the spot just after the baffle, he said that was common. I was also shown a few different 2-1 pipes that had blueing at the spot when the 2 pipes intersect....I was told that it was common for a lot of 2-1 pipes.
I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the Rebels in particular the Long Even for the TC88?
I am mostly curious if the claims they make are accurate for the real world?
If anyone knows if those jet settings can be translated into the EFI model or are they a weird setting?
Last....what do they sound like? How Deep Loud? Do they rattle? That kind of stuff??
