I have the stage II 95in with SE perf mufflers. I want to change the pipes but can't decide on what style or brand. 2 into 1 better performance, 2into 2 better looking. V&H, PYTHON, PORKER, SUPERTRAPP, D&D, WHAT? OPINIONS, as many as I can get! Thanks to all that reply.
Thunder header works very well
D&D works well
V&H pro pipe works well.
The best I have ever seen on a dyno are the python 3 --2 into 2 with the ar header pipe. best numbers i have ever seen and great deep sound. Better then any of the ones up on my list but these are not 2 into 1.
Best performance I have ever seen on stock headers with slip ons are RUSH 2 inch. stock 96 inch motor with high flow air cleaner and pc3 93/95 tork. thats the same as a 103 big bore install with SE mufflers.
I figured the 2-1 pipe would be suggested for its performance. I've seen the D+D pipe on a bike like mine and didn't care for its looks. [springer classic]...I'll hate to sacrafice performance. I love the looks of both the V&H staggered big shots,Python staggered, but the Supertrapp Mean Mothers with turn downs really catch my eye. Will I regret purchasing any of the above?THANKS AGAIN FOR THE REPLIES.
