Can anyone tell me if torque cones actually work? I just ordered true dual headers for my bike and I was considering torque cones to help gain back that bottom end torque loss associated with true dual headers.
As Mentor said they have to trap heat. I would think by building pressure at this point.
I bet if you just had to do something, putting is some of those baffles at the end of the pipe would be better.
Yep, you will accomplish the same if you just shove-em up your butt....if they were the hot ticket you would see pipe manufacturers using them as inserts on their systems.
There is nothing wrong with true duals that a good 2 into 1 system wont take care of
The only time I saw them work good is on a 2" set of drag pipes with a big cam on a stock motor as said before a hopelessly mismatched system. They help with Reversion which if you have matched things properly won't be helped by cones. In my opinion a waste of money.
