What part of Tennessee are you in and what dealership? I'm here in Knoxville and still looking for a tuner that has a good reputation - several months and still nothing. I guess I'd like to know who did yours so I can stay away from them - really, ring flutter? Why not flat disks on the muffler bearings?
The tuner didn't say it, well it was the guy running the bike, he said the rings hadn't seated yet and no he didn't turn the bike to 6000, he also stated that he wasn't going to beat up the engine just to show good #'s, he actually took care of the engine, I guess part of it was my fault, I couldn;t find a download on the PC site to put into my PCIII and it was running a little lean, I figured after the ring seating run I done they would be seated enough to give me some good #'s but I guess I was wrong.
The tuner is a very good tuner, I've seen several bikes that he ahas tuned and they run great, heck my bike runs great, it pulls really good, 92 tq ain't to bad and I'll bet the hp comes on up after it's run for awhile, I'm not going to worry about it anymore, I'm going to ride it and have fun.
I think that sometimes we get lost in the hp number. I believe that a quality ride is one that has a strong tq curve and pulls hard. I really dont care too much about the hp numbers.
Remember hp is for you ego Tq make your assgo.Id give uo 20 hp if I gained 20 lbs tq across entire power band.and yes I know, but you get my point.Id rather have flat tq curve that maxed out.
