Hals don't do the tuner right at this time but I know for a fact the MoCo is going to their shop and train 3 to 4 of their techs on the proper way to tune. When....I couldn't tell you.
Yes I looked at your graphs....after 49 runs they got you one more lb of tq which is good to have. I do see a little lean AFR at 100% throttle than I would run....I like to see 12.8 to 12.5 in this area and you have 13.7 or so.
These 100% runs don't tell the complete story, the real tune comes from doing all the Throttle positions and RPM grids. The tuner did do 48~49 runs which means he was looking at something but without that information we are in the dark.
All in alllooks like you have a fun bike to ride. I do haveone question, why would he take it off the dyno to ride on the road then back on the dyno....I wonder what he was looking for.
He did not put it back on the dyno lift he just hooked it back up to the computer after he rode it. He said he was not going to mess with the maps anymore just the ve tables to see if he could correct the pop. The baseline comes from them having put a canned se 2 into 1 download in it at the shop that put the pipe on. Then it went to the hd shop across town to dyno it. If what I hear from harley is correct and the bike starts at 87 fpt it was a notable improvement in all but the popping sucks.
Seeing this kind of stuff just reinforces my belief that a dyno tune is only as good as the guy doing it... It certainly pays to have somebody you trust do it properly.
The guy shouldn't be messing with the VE tables unless he can see the results of his changes on the dyno....he's telling the ECM how much air is flowing through the motor with no way to confirm if he was right. This is just another tech that moves numbers around but has no idea why or what the numbers are doing. This does more damage than good 99% of the time....this also explains your decel popping.

Thats what we have been sayin just because they say they are certified does not mean they are...... it took me 3 yrs to find a good tuner and i will send people his way its up to them if they really go but its my opinion and experience that tells me he is very good and worth what he charges. there are only a handful that i know of.
