I just purchased a new 2:1 exhaust for my 02 wide glide.
The pipe isfrom Rinehart. It comes with a port for an O2 sensor, whichmy bikedoes not have. I have to plug this port.
What is the thread size on the O2 sensor?
It would appear to be a 3/8 NPT. Is this correct?

Any help would be appreciated.

What does the 02 sensor do and is it necessary. Can I remove them and tune bike differently?

 

Do a search on O2 sensors. There are a million words on the subject. If your happy with the bike now ..don't touch. There are a few senarios you can follow but cost cash. Search and learn
