Iv been told i need a good 2 into 1 exhaust to get good lower end on my build. Is it true you get gains out of a 2 into 1 and how much ? I have reinharts now. Im strong after 3000 but Im around 80tq from 1500 to 3000. Would really like to pick that up.
A quick fix to getting back a lot of that lost torque is going with the 'torque cones' that install inside your head pipes. When I went from stock to true duals it was like someone was holding onto the back of the bike every time I tried to accelerate...even worse when the wife was riding with me. I put in a set of torque cones and the power came back all the way through the power band.
I had a true dual system on my Heritage Springer...95" build, heads, cams, do dads PCIII...The most that Cycle Solutions could get out of it was 76HP an 91Tq
Swapped out my V&H BSS and went to D&D Fatcat < Wow!> Sounds great and runs way better. Would have been great if I had got them from the start.
