Default Cam Cover Replacement

Any thing to be concerned about when changing out the Cam Cover on a 2006 Cop Glide?

Service Manual almost makes it would like a non-issue

Remove Front Pipe, drain oil, remove bolts, remove old cover, reverse as necessary.

Thanks

Don't need to drain oil. Just tuck some aluminum foil or something in between the clutch cable and the bottom of the cam chest and let it lay into a drainpan. You won't lose much oil.

Still tuck something under there cuz you'll have some in the cam chest.

I did it without draining the oil, and I lost very little oil.

Just make sure bolt holes are 100% dry when reasembling

Took longer to remove the exhaust pipe than it did to R & R the Cam Cover.

Went well.

Thanks

Good. If it's stock crossover exhaust, they're a PITA to remove
