Baisley Spring on '04 Softail??
What is the general feeling of the group for installing a Baisley Spring on an '04 Softail under warrantee? Do you have to remove the small round inspection cover or the large cam cover to install it?

You will have to remove the exhaust and cam cover. If the bike is completely stock there is little reason to use it. It is most beneficial on bikes with performance cams to help quiet the lifters down from the added stress of the cam.
Additionally, it is a Latus Motor Racing spring, Baisley is just a reseller. The spring comes in 2 flavors, LMR-002 and LMR-004. The 002 offers a 15% increase and the 004 offers a 30% increase. For most normal street bikes the 002 is sufficient.
