I went with a set of screaming eagle heads, andrews adjustable pushrodsand a 60Hg andrews cam. I have to say, she really rips now. Still have to adjust my DFO a little bit more. seems like its loading up on the bottem end, but from half to full throttle, hold the beep ON.
Thinking about getting it dynoed in a few weeks, anybody have a guess on hp/tq? Also if anyone has a few idea on dfo adjustments, that would be helpful too.
Steelhorse, glad you are happy! While not the most convetional build, if your happy thats all that matters. Just a word of advice though. The DFO might not cut it on that build. You will need some timing changes for sure with that cam and compression. Thats probably where the bad lowe end manners are coming from.
Sorry guys, 07 dyna steetbob, vance&hines shortshots, hypercharger, not really sure which heads i went with. I took it to a local indy, which i do have alot of faith in, he told me that with these heads and this cam, i otta have a pretty decent running TC. I love the bike and runs great. Drag raced, a few of the guys i ride with, one was a 07 dyna with pipes a/c and fuelpak and when i shifted into second he might as well of shut his down. Its just a matter of now trying to dial in the motor a little more to run smoother.
Bagger, thats what I was hoping to resolve with the dyno.
